Saucy Jaunt

This was an absorbing creative journey. . . . a commission for favorite oldest son and wife.  The idea included energetic reds with contrasting colors.  The pieces, which my husband assembled, have various depths from 2- 4 inches.  I was all ready to paint with the ideas and energy brewing  inside my head, then was hit with a major Spring cold and had to wait  a couple of weeks,  Once I stared painting, the  base coat  was  put on in a day then many adjustments over the next week.  We took it to Little Rock last week.  I think they like it.
