Vase in Peach

Vase in Peach    12 x 12  x 1   mixed

    This is mixed media in India ink, watercolor, oil paste and acrylic.  A lighthearted rendering of a common subject-vase and flowers….this might be # 27 for me.
     This is presentation is an experiment.  The artwork is done on 140# arches watercolor paper.  The painting spayed with Krylon. 
    The support is pink insulation Styrofoam, cut to size and a hollow routed for hanging. Then layers of gesso were applied and back and sides painted with acrylic. 
    The painting was then secured to support with acrylic medium.  It looks neat and is very lightweight.
    So does anyone know of any problems with chemical reaction of the Styrofoam and acrylic?  I would appreciate comments.
