I like putting all this stuff together and choosing colors to put next to each other. That Red guy really has an attitude and looks great next to that purple/blue/turquoise pot. The things in this painting are mine... meaning my coffee cup and my green plate (but mine has a flower in the middle not a chicken) and utensil holder (but mine is red). I encourage my students to paint from there own experience so the they have some emotional attachment and gives oportunity for uniqueness. This painting is in private collection.
