Barn 120 Sun Spots 22x30 Watercolor, pencil
This effort seems to have the lighting from the top. The color is a bit more muted or neutralized and white scattered around. I think it is “good enough” but not my favorite. What do you think?

I just stumbled upon your blog, Ellen, and I'm thrilled to have done so! Love your work; it's so cheery. As for this one, I like it but probably like others better -- the muted colours do make for a more subdued mood. That said, the polka-dot cow is wonderful!
