Favorite Things: Green Crock 16x20 Acrylic
I wanted focus on lost edges so that everything is not so very obvious, therefore the flowers are blended into white background in a few places, the crock also has lost edges. Also attention was given to intensity.
The rectangular shapes in the background serve to add an abstract feature and additional entertainment. There is a clear contrast in value-dark, medium, and light; in color-warm, cool, pure and dull; in sizes-large and small, some texture found in line and spatter. Also every corner is different in size, value and shape. A couple folks said they like this one a lot. What do you think?
